This is the beginning sketch of one of the many pilot characters I am developing. These characters are for a personal story that I had in mind. I have always been fascinated with the old WWI and WWII era pilots and their history. I needed to escape from the environment deal for a bit, I do a lot of that sort of thing at work. Maybe we peeps are more drawn to characters of the story because of the human part of it, we can connect. In any case, here is a sneak peek:
Just a heads up, I have been working on some concepts for my own rendition of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" - in which case, this may become an art book I will be printing in the future. So check back on updates with that one as well. :) Cheers!

Your getting better all the time man. Looks GREAT!
Hey mike thanks for the comment! To be quite honest I'm generally in awe when i look at your work, this new character is no exception. Hopefully I can get out to Chicago in the near future, I'll let you know if I'm headed that way. One last thing, you should come out to the SD con if you can make it, me, Swartz, and a few others are going again too.
An update?! Have mercy Bob, have mercy!
Thank you for the comments Jeremy!
