work in progress - sky angels

This is the beginning sketch of one of the many pilot characters I am developing. These characters are for a personal story that I had in mind. I have always been fascinated with the old WWI and WWII era pilots and their history. I needed to escape from the environment deal for a bit, I do a lot of that sort of thing at work. Maybe we peeps are more drawn to characters of the story because of the human part of it, we can connect. In any case, here is a sneak peek:

Just a heads up, I have been working on some concepts for my own rendition of Robert Louis Stevenson's "Treasure Island" - in which case, this may become an art book I will be printing in the future. So check back on updates with that one as well. :) Cheers!

well ladies and gents, welcome to the beginning of my blog. here you will find various concepts and illustrations i have recently done and/or working on. with just graduating from a wonderful institution, the College for Creative Studies, i am now working within the industry of entertainment design. my website is currently being overhauled, so for now, this blog shall substitute for it. enjoy!
